The service
CentreCheck analyzes compliance records you upload — policies, playground inspection logs, daily written records, incident reports, and similar — against Ontario's Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and O. Reg. 137/15, and produces a gap report showing what a Ministry program advisor would likely flag at an inspection. Pricing will be listed on the pricing page when purchasing opens.
The important caveat — decision support, not a Ministry determination, not legal advice
CentreCheck reports are generated by an AI model reading the documents you upload. They can contain errors, omissions, or misreadings of a document — the AI may miss something a human reviewer would catch, or flag something that isn't actually a problem. CentreCheck reports are:
- Not a Ministry determination. Only a Ministry program advisor conducting an actual inspection can determine whether your centre is compliant. Our report is our best assessment of what they would likely ask to see and flag — not a guarantee of the outcome of a real inspection.
- Not legal advice. If you have a legal question about your obligations under the CCEYA or O. Reg. 137/15, consult a lawyer or contact your service system manager or the Ministry directly.
You remain solely responsible for your centre's compliance with the CCEYA, O. Reg. 137/15, and all other applicable laws. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CentreCheck's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim, and CentreCheck is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including any Ministry enforcement action, licence condition, suspension, or revocation.
Your content, and your responsibility as custodian
You retain all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the service — storing and analyzing them as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your centre is the information custodian for any personal information about children and families contained in the records you upload. By uploading a document, you confirm that:
- You are authorized by your centre to upload it.
- Your centre already has a lawful basis to hold the personal information in it (for example, the consent or notice already given to parents as part of your centre's own enrolment and recordkeeping practices).
- You are not uploading anything you don't have the right to share with a service provider acting on your centre's behalf.
CentreCheck processes what you upload only for the purpose of producing your compliance report — we don't independently verify your authority to upload a given document, and we rely on this confirmation.
Acceptable use
- One account per centre. If your organization operates multiple centres, contact us.
- No reselling analyses, scraping, reverse engineering, or abusing usage limits.
- No uploading content you have no right to process, or content unrelated to your own centre's compliance records (for example, another centre's documents).
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to account holders 14 days in advance. Governing law: Ontario, Canada.
